Tilled ground + 2 boys = :)
When the ground was tilled for the garden when I was little, the big thing to do was to go barefoot and just run and race until you couldn't go anymore. Well, I was a girl. Trever saw this as a prime time to go digging for worms! Casen is catching on. ;) We took advantage of another day where the sun decided to shine. We went to Granny's and got shovels, a rolling bucket, Granny herself, and my two kids went to town! I am posting pics of the first "worm of the year" that Trever dug up. Poor worm. Anyway, Casen was just not too sure what to think. He kept making the same face over and over (see pics). He wanted to hold it so bad but just couldn't. For those of you that do not know, he is very particular with textures of things. The balls with all the slimy looking strings on them, yeah, he dry heaves and screams "Ow" everytime he sees them. So a worm probably doesn't register much different on his untouchable radar. He does have pretend worms that he carries around in his pockets and takes baths with so I think he's trying! Trever takes "worm hunting" very seriously and I feel like the shirt he had on that day was quite appropriate!
