Slowly, is our answer! :) When I was little we always had a big garden in between my house and Granny's and I always just thought that it was the best thing. Now, I live back in that house with my kids so it would only be right that we have a garden in between our house and Granny's...right? Well, Michael and I have wanted to have a garden for a few years and have just never gotten around to having one. Like it's so easy you can just "have" one. I tried my hand at the Topsy Turvy tomato plant grower last year and only let it die twice so we thought we would go all out this year. Ok, Granny talked us into it. With a twinkle in her eye she said that she would provide all of her years of gardening knowledge if we would do the labor part since she is falling apart.. physically (her words..not mine);)If you have ever had a garden then you know what the twinkle in her eye was about. Gardening is hard work.(this was about 2 or 3 weekends ago) So Papa Jack brought the tractor up and started to till the ground for our very own garden. In the pic you see Michael with shorts on and Papa Jack with a coat on. This is bc my poor husband had been in the bed for two days with the stomach bug but rolled out and walked up there to watch the making of this thing. Dedication. What you can't see is Granny on the other side of the tractor "supervising" only to then let us all know that the rows were going in the wrong direction. So far so good :) I will keep you updated about our garden...
