Both of the boys love books right now. Everytime we go somewhere Trever wants a book and Heaven help you if you check him out of school on a Friday before his class has gone to the library (or forget that it is Fri. and somehow don't manage to make sure his book is in his backpack so he can swap it :/). Y'all know I am a little on the cheap side and am not buying everybody a book everytime we go somewhere so I thought about the library! Michael and I both have a Bible Study group that we attend seperately one night a week. Michael's night is Tue. so I thought what a good thing for us to do after supper on Tue. nights! I think we all know that when Daddy doesn't come home after work the day can get very lllooonnnnggg. The Hsv. Library has a branch office in Hazel Green. I think they have weird hours but on Tue. night they are open until 8pm which works great for us! So, I loaded the boys up and off we went to get our library cards! I had one when I was younger...ok, when I was younger I got a drivers license so I guess I had a library card when I was a kid. :/ I think in all my excitment over my great idea I forgot a very important thing: library's are quiet. We were not quiet...at all. Thankfully, this is a small library and not very busy at 7pm. Kids' library cards now-a-days are cute! They are colorful with confetti and stars on them. When the girl handed Trever his, he said "Yeeessss! Now I have a party card and I can have parties here" ??? I think the confetti threw the little guy off bc the librarian (and me) had never heard anyone associate partying with a library card. Anyway, we got our books and movies and headed for home! I have to say that I forgot the library had movies and this one has a slew of Veggie Tales which means that I don't have to buy them since we can't get them on tv anymore. Cha-ching in my pocket! Once we got home I decided to take their pics with their new library cards. I have posted some pics. I also posted a pic toward the end of Casen's new dance move that he discovered while taking library cards pics!
